Matoria is a landmass located in the Pacific Ocean, covered in jungles, open fern prairies, and swamps. The landmass is only the size of Greenland. As for what creatures live here, those would be none other than dinosaurs that have survived to the present day. Direct descendants of animals from the fossil record.
dinosauria101 has decided to help with creating new dinosaur species, and has selected these theropods.
Mapusaurus Siats Deinonychus Utahraptor Aerosteon Daspletosaurus Deinocheirus Deltadromeus Rajasaurus Oxalaia
Why am I asking for help? You see, unlike mammals which are more convenient for me to work with, for me personally it can be kind of crazy to keep track of what's accurate and what isn't accurate with dinosaurs which can be a bit of a nightmare. So if anyone wants to be a part of making the fauna of Matoria, you're more than welcome to. Inspiration for this, (and for my other mythical place called Bakula) came from this.

So Matoria is like a reptilian version of Beluka. Am I right?

So Matoria is like a reptilian version of Beluka. Am I right? Not quite Bakula is 2 landmasses, Matoria is just one landmass. Bakula has both warm and cold climates, Matoria has hot and humid climates, there is no grass on the ground in Matoria, and all the animals this time are in new genus's.

Basically, Matoria seems similar to Dinotopia. Am I correct?

The birds are also pretty small as well.

Heck, some dinosaurs are the humans favorite food and the big carnivores take the humans kills from them. Speaking of which, any input on what to do with the suggested dinosaurs to make them new species?

Spinonychus - all the speed and agility of Deinonychus with the swimming and sail of Spinosaurus Aerosteon+Deinocheirus - the most pneumatic theropod ever, and it's got a giant humpback Mapuraptor - sauropod hunting, Tyrannosaurus size dromaeosaur

From the OP, it sounds like he wants scientifically accurate dinosaurs.

I have a few ideas with the dinosaurs.
The horn of Rajasaurus could get much longer, and males can use them the same way narwhals fight for dominance.
The raptors could get smaller to avoid direct competition with the other theropds, and with one raptor with the undersides of its claws being bladed.

That's smart, actually. I think I'll use those guidelines with the other dinos

Oxalaia- An animal that was basically a South American version of Spinosaurus.
Matoria- Not sure if this could work,(also apologies if this sounds a bit forceful as the emoji is telling me) but maybe this dinosaur could lose the sail completely and have a penguin-like feather coating.
What do you think?
