As many of you may know him, William Lane Craig is probably the leading theist christian apologetic. He's been involved in many, many debates with countless scientists and philosophers; and even though he's neither on the easier side of the fence for evidence, nor is he as smart as his opponent, somehow he almost always wins his debates.
Craig consistently uses gish-galloping in every single one of his debates, this includes presenting lies and misinformed facts as if they were scientific truth, and he always tends to throw the burden of proof on his opponent, even if he is the one making the extraordinary claim, and many other dirty debating tactics. WLC is the master of the strawman, so to speak.
However, that wasn't the case this time around. Meet my new idol, Dr. Shelly Kagan. Him and Craig discuss morality, it was the first debate that I have ever heard William Lane Craig participate in that I felt he thoroughly lost.
For granted, there have been a few people in history whom Craig did not necessary defeat cleanly in a debate, such as Sam Harris and Peter Millican, but at the very least, he drew them. This debate however, had a whole other result.
Kagan killed Craig, especially in the Q&A, where all of Craig's arguments were demolished by Kagan through nothing but pure logic. Unlike most other historical opponents, Kagan can see right through Craig's galloping, and doesn't allow him to get away with dirty debating tactics.
Here's the debate, not much happens in the first half of the video, with both men delivering their 20 minute opening remarks. If you're limited on time, it's the Q&A that you need to watch;

WLC isn't off his game or anything, he's as usual prepared with his traditional ramblings, but Shelly Kagan simply slices right through Craig's habitual arguments, like a knife through butter.
