These little birds are extremely territorial and will attack even large birds of prey.

This is fairly similar. Finch drinking booby blood. This bird is most famous for its unusual diet. When alternative sources are scarce the vampire finch occasionally feeds by drinking the blood of other birds chiefly the Nazca and blue-footed boobies, pecking at their skin with their sharp beaks until blood is drawn.

I probably should have been more clear in the OP. By "similar" I meant the more similar to the incident I posted above (namely a kingbird attacking a bird of prey, possibly by riding on its back), the better. Like this: Additional images can be viewed here->.

Well, yes it is you are correct. They look a lot like goldens and had I not seen the image description I would have thought it was one.
