A 60 kg spotted hyena runs the gauntlet. How far does it get? Round 1: Cape leopard, 32 kg Round 2: 2 African wild dogs, 23 kg each Round 3: Kangal, 50 kg Round 4: Warthog, 80 kg Round 5: 2 striped hyenas, 30 kg each Round 6: Grey wolf, 50 kg Round 7: Sun bear, 60 kg

Stops at the warthog. Spotted hyenas have powerful jaws but they lack the claws and grappling ability to subdue a warthog the way felines and Ursidae do. The warthog has tusks that can cut like knives rather than goring like horns.

I would think it would clear the warthog (apparently they are somewhat less formidable relative to size than boars, not sure if that has to do with weapons or aggression), but it's close. I think the hyena can edge out about 6/10 times if it simply avoids the head.
Round 5 is 55/45 for the spotted IMO; the striped have numbers but the spotted hyena just needs 1 bite to kill one.
Round 6 is probably a 50/50 with a bit of an edge to the hyena; it has the size to win, but I find the grey wolf superior in many aspects at parity such as speed and jaws.
Round 7: I favor the bear here; the hyena doesn't seem to have a big enough head to counter the bear's grappling.
