The snakehead may have an advantage individually, but if the piranhas work together, they can easily mob the snakehead.

I favor the snakehead 1 on 1 as well, it's much larger and certainly has sufficient weapons to take on a much smaller piranha. 2 however, I favor the piranhas. Numbers, jaws, and mobbing - they can both attack and do serious damage

The redeye is not found in florida anymore, it was extirpated in 1985. This is before the snakeheads arrived as invasives in the US, let alone florida. They were never sympatric.

Yes, you're correct. That's what the gov page on them says.
I ought to start checking dates for these invasives.
