All the lions together would outweigh all the Smilodon, but the Smilodon bring a greater wrestling prowess and saber teeth to this fight, winning it.

I'd favor the sabertooths as well - they are indeed much more muscular with very impressive limbs, and can probably dispatch of each lion very quickly, not to mention their numbers, I'd say they win 65/35 overall
