Oh. What were you referring to, then? I simply made the statement that these things are based in mythology, which they are. Well, there is a marked difference between the little people of say, the seminoles, who are just tiny seminole people who cause mischief, and the Ebu Gogo, who actually fit the description of a creature that lived in the area until relatively recently.
BTW< there's no actual evidence Bigfoot is mentioned in native legend. It just so happens that they mention Hairy giants, who may or may not just be large hairy men in the stories.

They are referred in a similar way as the ebu gogo are, except in the former they are commonly referred to "large hairy men of the woods" as opposed to "small hairy men", with variatable supernatural attributes, all being referred to "bigfoot" or "sasquatch". I don't think they are meant as literal giant hairy men.

Interesting find, kekistani. I wonder if they can analyze it closely?

Mngwa can be new type of wild cat. Tasmanian creature might be not only new species but entire new phylum. Nguamamonene might be undiscovered type of snake or a monitor lizard. Black demon might be new kind of shark. Mokele Mbembe might be new type of lizard possibly new kind of monitor lizard. And no I don't think Mokele mbembe is any kind of dinosaur but in actuality the original story didn't say anything about dinosaur it described animal resembling giant monitor lizard and the fact that people who write newspapers confused it with dinosaur was an attempt to either sensationalize or discredit the actual animal that hides behind the legend. Ngoima might be new type of eagle. Tatzelwurm might be new kind of legless lizard. Lau can be new kind of catfish. Grey ox might be new bovidae. Mongolian death worm might be something new. And living creature that policeman Johns Collins and Joe Keenan saw in outskirts of Philadelphia if real is definitely something new. What I can't tell and neither could they and if this creature would be proven real it would take zoologist long time before they could definitively say what it is. Getapolonga might be new subspecies of Russell's viper. Bergman's bear could be new species of bear. There might still be few undiscovered cobras or mambas in Africa. And there are probably number of undiscovered sea snakes. Kraken might be new kind of squid that is larger than all others.
