I think two female spotted hyenas can easily win this war. These spotted hyenas are more powerful and socialble compared to the brown hyenas. This could also mean the spotted hyenas corporate better than the brown hyenas in a fight (despite the fact brown hyenas are capable of working together as well).

I would favor the brown hyenas myself, though it'd be close. They're probably a little more massive combined, might be more agile, and have extra numbers.

The brown hyenas have a barely larger combined weight and numbers, but the spotted hyenas have greater size, and therefore win this battle.

The spotted hyenas would most likely win; I see one having a far easier time with 1 brown hyena than 2 would with 1 spotted.
