brobearBeing a nation's symbol does not necessarily mean superior. I do favor the bear, but just so you know.

True, the Florida Panther is Florida's state animal yet it isn't superior to the black bear. So being a symbol doesn't mean anything on superiority.

Why is there even a thread about which animal is supposedly most promoted in Russia? This is far more of a cultural issue than anything related to either animal.

Brobear
This just shows how desperate you've become. Being a national animal has absolutely NOTHING to do with superiority at all. And you know it.
I'm posting countless sources which easily prove that the tiger, in the same forest as the Brown bear, is widely regarded to be the undisputed LORD, king and master of the taiga. Thats a huge difference!
Going by your ridiculous logic, then the Moose is superior to both the giant Alaskan grizzlies and Kodiak bears too, OK?? Because the Moose is the national animal of Alaska. LOL!
In the Ussuri taiga and Manchurian taiga, both the Russian and Chinese regard the tiger to be the undisputed apex ruler, owner and master of the forest. - NOT THE BROWN BEAR.
Everyone can clearly see that the sources I posted shows blatant superiority of the tiger over the Brown bear. Whereas you just posted completely irrelevant nonsense, out of pure desperation because you have nothing, period.
And once again, your spamming the same lies about tigers "rarely" predating adult she-bears. You can lie to yourself all you want, but it will never change the FACT, that many upon many mature adult female Brown bears have been slaughtered and devoured by tigers for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have posted the accounts on this forum, so your pathetic lies cannot fool anyone.
The tiger is the only KILLER of full-grown adult Brown bears, even of mature male Brown bears.
Remember, the tiger is the undisputed King of the taiga:

This is true; being a nation's symbol or proclaimed as being the "King of Beasts" is nothing more than human perception. Yeah, except for thousands of years, native Russians and Chinese often came across remains of Brown bears that were killed, torn apart and eaten by tigers, quite often. So due to these observations and experiences, they came to revere the tiger much more, acknowledge its supremacy and dominance over the Brown bear and regard it to be the undisputed Lord and Master of the taiga.

mountainlord , do the natives in Bengal think something similar? Of course they do. Everyone knows that in India, the Bengal tiger is widely regarded to be the undisputed Lord of the jungle.
Not the Elephant nor the bear, but the tiger.

If you want to point out that you have produced more evidence than brobear, that's fine but stating he is "lying," using "ridiculous logic," and has "pathetically lied," is once again veering into unacceptable insults. If you want to say you find his evidence/reasoning of poor quality, disingenuous, or lacking credibility, that's fine. Just attack his position, not him personally. I'll leave any penalties to the admins but please take this as a warning.

I already had the basic idea for this post earlier, but I postponed it until I saw that the complaints about mountainlord et al. have risen again.
I’m not sure how old you guys (mountainlord, TheLionBoy and brobear) are. Because if any of you is older than 14, it’s just plain embarrassing that you don’t know any better.
For starters, being fanatically obsessed with a certain animal does not make you look good. In the eyes of a general audience, you might be called „geeks“ or some similar slur, but within AVA circles, we have a special term for these kinds of people. It’s called „fanboy“. You guys all seem to think that whether one is a fanboy or not depends entirely on the side one takes („everyone who agrees with me is objective, everyone who disagrees is a biased fanboy“).
In truth, there are certain behaviors that will make one look like a fanboy regardless of how true the content of one’s posts might be.
Basically, you might be a fanboy if… …you use colorful and melodramatic language to describe your favorite animal („lord“, „supreme ruler“). …you talk about how „courageous“ and „superior“ your favorite animal is as if these were quantities as objective as body mass or bite force. …you insult just about everyone who in some way doubts the perfection of your favorite animal. …you bold, underlined or large fonts (or caps lock) whenever you talk about your favorite animal for emphasis. …you make entire threads that serve no other purpose other than to compare the d*ck length of your favorite animal and its rivals.
This isn’t rules I’ve just made up. Nor are they exclusive to this forum. Talk about your favorite band or your favorite country in the way outlined above and you’ll likely be most likely laughed off. And the people giving you a platform will just feel plain embarrassed. Really, this is just plain obvious to anyone who hasn’t learned proper behavior from a YouTube comment section. Most people don’t have the patience to fact-check every single screenshot. However, stylistic choices as outlined above stick out immediately. And they shape the perception people will have of you. Whenever there is a conflict about whether someone should get banned, I’m gonna be pretty biased against anyone who can’t keep down the melodrama when talking about their favorite animal.

The Bear: History of a Fallen King by Michel Pastoureau Quote: The Herculean strength of the bear, the fact that no animal can best it ( man is its only predator ), and its long history of being admired and feared in all European regions were not enough to keep it on its throne. The foreign lion, preferred by the medieval Church, gradually drove it off, demonstrating that, despite the criteria set out above, cultural history always wins out over natural history. To its extraordinary muscular strength, the bear adds resistance to fatigue and to bad weather unmatched by any other European species. The bear seems not to be troubled by cold, rain, snow, wind, or storm; only extreme heat reduces its activity and impels it to rest. But bears generally seem to overcome all the hostile forces of nature and to look on any form of danger with contempt. No animal frightens them, not even the largest boars they encounter in the woods and that sometimes battle with them over prey, and even less the packs of wolves that attack bears in winter in groups of fifteen or twenty and try to tear them to pieces. The bear fears nothing and is, indeed, practically invincible.

Yeah, the Brown bear is very mighty in forests that have no tigers. But in the same forest as tigers, even your mighty Brown bear is hunted, killed and eaten by the Lord of the taiga.
Siberian tiger is the undisputed King of the forest:
