If these accounts are true, how do single tigers accomplish something that entire lion prides have never succeeded in (killing a grown, healthy bull elephant)? A tiger will not ambush a bull elephant, a bull rhinoceros, a 1,000+ pound crocodile, or a mature boar grizzly. Even a tiger has his limitations.
A bull ( tusker ) elephant is absolutely out of the question for either a lion or a tiger. You can believe this; big cats are not that stupid.

We found that wild boar and sambar deer are significantly preferred by tigers, with red deer and barasingha likely to be significantly preferred also with a larger sample size. Talking about statistics, this is what is called twisting statistics. These studies contain both male and female tigers, and also many places where tigers live in India do not contain larger prey like Buffalo, which are preferred in places where they do co exist.

@ceratodromeus, I'm going to give you the same advice I gave @moutainlord earlier today. Please refrain from insulting language. Calling someone a clown or muppet is not appropriate. I don't care about strong disagreements, that is fine. But attack the positions, and leave off insulting the poster.

lol, no offense but I'm really not sure why you allowed the shitposting of a tiger fanboy who likes to call random people online "liars" -- including the admin of this forum -- over trivial nonsense. He gets no respect from me, and i will attack it as i see fit. I mean, you lot already banned him once because he pretty conclusively showed that he contributes exactly 0 to actual constructive content or discussion( no, sharing zoomed in screenshots with red boxes around them isn't constructive or valuable). I'm fairly certain i don't need to be told how to properly debate a subject at all, if there's something of merit or worthy of an actual discussion, i am more than willing to do so 10/10. I have read those accounts, and I find them VAGUE. Whether Indian Forest Officials take those accounts at face value (or not), is not my concern and neither this is a valid line-of-thought to convince people; do you think that people in good offices and positions are infallible? ACCOUNTS can be subjective/misleading/false/sugarcoated - anything. I have attempted to convey this reality to you time-and-again, to no avail. I have allowed you to contribute to this forum in good faith but you do not have to shove your positions on a subject down the throat of people here. I would like to get my hands on it though. I appreciate and welcome a more scientific discourse in this forum - this have been the case since the beginning.
