Chimp likely wins this matchup. It's much bigger and can probably use its strength to ragdoll and toss the dog around. Though the pitbull does have a chance due to jaws and durability, and I would for sure back it at parity.

I agree - only due to its mass advantage, the chimp would be stronger. At parity, I think the pitbull may actually be more powerful.

The chimp is lacking in weaponry compared to the dog, yes. It's about 2-2.5 times as big, but only that would give it a win and then not by much even.
