Smilodon fatalis (pride of 12) t00.deviantart.net/ygSCG0I2fjXhxL6nAUv2Z7k5t6I=/500x250/filters:fixed_height(100,100):origin()/pre00/f9f0/th/pre/i/2015/120/4/5/smilodon_fatalis_fullview_by_dantheman9758-d3dhscv.jpg Order: Carnivora Family: Felidae Length: 1.8 meters Mass: 220 kg Diet: Large herbivores Age and Location: 34,000-11,000 years ago, Pleistocene epoch, North and South America Weapons: Saber teeth, manual claws Very robust and strong forearms. Is thought to have killed its prey by using its canines to slash the throat. Giganotosaurus carolinii img00.deviantart.net/6d9d/i/2012/144/e/e/giganotosaurus_carolinii_by_teratophoneus-d50xwgw.jpgOrder: Theropoda Family: Carcharodontosauridae Length: 12.32-13.12 meters Mass: 7.5-9 tonnes Age and Location: 95 million years ago, Mid Cretaceous period, Argentina Diet: Other dinosaurs Weapons: Slicing jaws, manual and pedal claws Possibly the largest known meat eating dinosaur. Only known from 2 specimens, MUCPv-Ch1 and MUCPv-95. NOTE: I know I may have said before that this matchup is a slaughter, but due to the large numerical advantage of the sabertooths it likely is not.

The Giganotosaurus will at least displace the whole pride of smilodon fatalis.

Giganotosaurus is vastly bigger than the whole pride, everything that it can use for victory is obvious here.

I for sure agree Giganotosaurus wins this. Larger, more durable, better stamina, massive jaws, and the Smilodon fatalis can't really do much unless they ground it. It may take a bit to kill all the cats but I see it winning due to all that.

I am sure that Giganotosaurus will win. The whole strategy for smilodon is overpowering the prey and aiming for a weak point. Try that for a 20 foot tall Theropod, They couldn't get a hit without risk of breaking their fangs, they couldn't knock it down not anything. And keep in mind if you get bitten prepare for a near 100% mortality rate with a single bite.
