I'd say the sloth bear wins, as its larger and able to repel tigers with its aggression, compared to the sun bear.

I agree the sloth bear would have an edge in the fight - it does have a decent mass and advantage. Aggression would likely be similar as both species are known for it, and the sun bear would have better durability, but the sloth bear's size is its overall salvation

The sloth bear sow would still have a significant weight advantage over the average male sun bear. Based off studies on their limb bones sloth bears would have the edge in terms of robusticity (although the differences between females and males may be noted) but the sun bear probably has the proportionally strongest bite out of all extant ursids.
So I'd mainly pick the sloth bear sow based off her decent weight advantage.

The female sloth bear not only has a decent weight advantage but she is way more aggressive than the more passive sun bear.
