Ocean Ramsey Shares Exclusive Video Of Swimming With Massive Great White Shark
This shark is alleged to be the famous Great White known as DEEP BLUE - one of the largest in the world. Even some dolphins were swimming very close to it.

Deep Blue doesn't really look like she's 6m long, at 3:08min for example she roughly looks 2.67 times longer than the diver who's about 1.78m without swimfins.
Is that just a matter of perspective?

The critically endangered great hammerhead was an impressive encounter in the first of those videos. And that large great white shark there was impressive too, so passive for a great predator.

Reading the information there, that's huge for a shark. Filter feeding sharks probably get bigger than that, but to see the great white shark can be really large too is fearsome.

Yes it is. A very large one. They are often fairly calm animals.

That's very nice. Good to know sharks aren't always aggressive killers, they can be gentle giants like whales sometimes.

That's interesting. Consistent with what the researchers are saying, I thought the original videos of Deep Blue 4-5 years ago suggested an animal longer than the shark in Hawaii in late 2018. If this really is a new shark named Haole Girl, she is also a massive individual weighing probably upwards of 5000 pounds and 18-19 feet long. But still probably a bit smaller than Deep Blue.

A new shark is interesting, both magnificent and fearsome. Probably close to the size limits of great white sharks.
