For my birthday this year, mum took me to the Ballarat Wildlife Park. It's quite a nice place and they have an interesting assortment of animals including koalas, crocodiles, alligators, wombats, Komodo dragons, giant tortoises, Tassie devils and dozens of free-roaming kangaroos.

I find it so cool how some Pygmy Rattlesnakes ( Sistrurus miliarius) blend in so well with the asphalt road.  |
