So I once read an article where people proposed feeding dogs insect based dog food instead of meat based stuff since its more environmentally friendly.
I started wondering whether you could hypothetically feed most carnivores an insect based diet without any major deleterious. I am sure it depends on the species, but hypothetically speaking could captive big cats, wolves, and adult crocodilians do well on an almost entirely insectivore diet?

I think that this is impossible, because it is in nature that cats and wild animals feed on meat and not on insects. But if you pick up a balanced diet, you may have something and succeed. My dog eats Best Price Rachael Ray Nutrish Dog Food and she really likes this food, Nov I think if I gave her a piece of meat she wouldn’t refuse. Therefore, only a person can decide what kind of food animals that live in captivity will eat.
