What the title says. This thread is for biology-related pieces from art that are designed to make you learn from them. Before you post every single figure from a any scientific paper you've found, make sure that what you post has at least some artistic merit along its educational merit.
Yeah, the rules for this thread are a bit vague. But since I don't think this thread will fall victim to spam, I'll keep it that way (for now).

To start, this neat little map I saw yesterday inspired me to create this thread:
