Tales of giants, found in every ancient culture, are often dismissed as mere myth. But they may be an important part of our origin story. Experts come together to discuss giants as a genetic link of humanity which is intentionally being erased from history.

In February 2018, researchers made a groundbreaking discovery after evidence was found of a missing civilization. See more in this clip from "Aliens and Human Evolution."

“The existence of giants here is confirmed” this was written in a letter to the French Academy of Sciences in 1766 by Dr. Matthew Maty, the secretary of the British Royal Society
He was referring to the confirmation of giants at the southern end of South America by English explorer John Byron..but reports of giants in this part of the world went back more than two centuries.

I only watched a bunch of these but all of them are as unconvincing as any other media of "forbidden archeology".
No image sources, no specific information on the supposed specimens, no real statement of any actual archeologists or anthropologists...

There certainly always had been extraordinarily tall humans and there are spatiotemporal differences in average size. I think we can agree that this is a fact. Yet, documentaries like the ones above always play with the conspiracy narrative that THEYTM are hiding something from us. There are bunch of people, who sincerely believe that the Smithsonian hides giants in its basement.

5'10 plus was probably not extraordinary. Paleolithic humans are known to be taller than humans in ancient history. Post-neolithic mostly agriculturist humans experienced a decrease in height, and health overall in point of fact. Even then it's a lopsided to compare Europeans of all people with Mayans. Groups in more temperate environments are mostly taller than those nearer the equator in tropical rainforest environments anyway. "Pygmy" populations live in forested places at the tropics for example. You can't really consider this a continuity of decreasing height because these peoples were under very different selection pressures. I don't get why this author would compare these groups in particular. Ancient Greeks and Romans were short compared with Paleolithic and modern europeans as well. Though I doubt they'd have considered them giants. Though this source is probably still inaccurate. Seriously, they're really claiming Mayan men were a more foot taller than women on average? Doesn't seem right. Don't know if what they said about Gravettians was an exaggeration as well.
