David James Armsby, the same man who gave us the animated Dinosauria series, has also created an upcoming three-part series called "Sauria". It is a fantasy series, but one where prehistoric animals play central role, whether as their actual selves or as fantasy sophonts. Dinosaurs are given a lot of focus, but there are also prehistoric mammals, pterosaurs, and stem-mammals. I'm finding myself really excited for this one! I saw and liked the trailer but I think it would have been cool if the intelligent dinosaurs were less anthropomorphized. Theropods were already bipedal so it would be cool if they retained their horizontal stance and were given dexterous arms rather than give them a human-like posture.

Well, if Dinosauria was anything to go by, then I’m looking forward to this new series! The designs look fantastic, especially the Carnotaurus.

The ceratosaurus dudes looked cool. Any idea if the blue dinosaur race is based on a real animal? Or are they just a fantasy mix of dinosaurs?

I think the Bluesong are a mix of ornithomimids and dromaeosaurids. They have sickle claws on their feet but also toothless beaks.
