Tiger: head and body length - 195 cm ( 6 feet 5 inches ) - Grizzly: head and body length 196 cm ( 6 feet 5 inches ). Tiger: shoulder height - 93 cm ( 3 feet ) - Grizzly: shoulder height - 115 cm ( 3 feet 9 inches ). Tiger: chest girth - 119 cm ( 3 feet 11 inches ) - Grizzly: 137 cm ( 4 feet 6 inches ). Tiger: weight - 189 kg ( 417 pounds ) - Grizzly: 264 kg ( 582 pounds ). Consider this... Equal head-and-body length = size parity. Shoulder height - Pretty-much equal really ( skeletal-wise ) but the bear has 9 inches of more muscle. Chest girth - Bears obviously have greater girth of neck, torso, and limbs. Weight - Average black grizzly has 165 pound weight advantage; even though at size parity. Yes, Ussuri brown bear ( black grizzly ) vs Amur tiger is a size-parity fight; which obviously the bear will win / the tiger will lose.

Yeah, only in your imagination. But according to actual observations and fight statistics reported by undisputed Russian authorities, researchers, biologists etc...the tiger - AS A RULE - defeats the Brown bear in a fight.
You can deny this established FACT all you want, but the reality will never change for you. There's a reason why for thousands and thousands of years, the Amur tiger has been widely regarded to be the undisputed Lord and Master of the Russian taiga and Manchurian taiga.
According to the renowned Russian-soviet hunter/explorer, naturalist - Nikolai Baikov....
In the Manchurian taiga, the tiger is master. He rules without any opposition - except that of man:
Even though huge Brown bears inhabit the Manchurian taiga, Baikov still says the tiger is the MASTER and rules without any opposition, besides only MAN.
The tiger was the indisputable king of the taiga - until the advent of man. Native Russian and Siberian ethnic groups respected and admired the tiger as the ruler of all beasts:
There's also a tiger, the King of the Ussuri taiga:
In the forest, the Brown bear meets the Ussuri tiger - the mightiest beast of prey on our planet:
books.google.co.uk/books?id=V54aAQAAMAAJ&pg=RA10-PA54&dq=the+brown+bear+meets+the+the+ussuri+tiger+-+that+mightiest+beast+of+prey&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiT5qC3jLTnAhWEVBUIHd1zD_EQ6AEIKTAA#v=onepage&q=the%20brown%20bear%20meets%20the%20the%20ussuri%20tiger%20-%20that%20mightiest%20beast%20of%20prey&f=false
So Brobear, according to the Russians and Chinese, the Amur tiger is the supreme ruler, owner and Lord of the taiga, not the mature male Brown bear.
Remember one very important fact....the Brown bear only rules the forest in your imagination, not in reality.
In reality, the tiger is the fearsome killer of even large Brown bears.

Lions and Tigers superior to the bear Also brobear says EVERY account of a lion killing a bear is Fake Yeah, of course Brobear will say that. Even though they are many accounts of lions destroying even large bears in fights.
The Romans respected and admired tigers and lions far more than bears.

Any big cat is a superior predator over a grizzly, but the grizzly can take a kill from any lone cat of any species.

Whereas the Celts and Germans had seen pictures of lions or elephants only relatively recently, shortly before or shortly after the Roman conquest, the situation was different for the peoples of Mediterranean Europe. They had long known of the existence of the large maned-cat, the huge pachyderm, and a few other exotic animals remarkable for their size, their power, and their appearance. The Romans in particular had been able to marvel at the physical presence of various species in the circus games that were larger and more savage than the European bear. *Note: the author is referring to the rhinoceros, the hippopotamus, and the elephant as being larger and more savage than the European bear. Although they sometimes staged battles in the arena between bears and bulls ( the bears almost always won ), they especially liked to see wild animals brought from Africa or Asia fight one another or against men. Sometimes, however, curiosity made them wonder about the strength of a bear or a bull compared to that of an animal from afar, and so there were battles between bears and lions, bears and panthers, bulls and lions, bulls and an elephant, and even a bear and a rhinoceros. Although bulls, fighting alone or in a group, seem never to have been victorious, a bear always won in single combat against a lion or against several panthers.

Is that the reason romans revered the lion and the tiger Is that why Greeks called them lions Is that Hercules fought the Nemean LION Is that why lions can kill bears with paw swipes Is that why lions have single handedly killed juvi elephants rhinos hippos bull capes bull giraffes large crocodiles There is NOT A SINGLE ACCOUNT OF A GRIZZLY KILLING AN ALLIGATOR Show us a SINGLE ACCOUNT OF A TIGER BEING DISPLACED BY A USSURI FROM HIS KILL
