Budgerigar birds.
I also generally prefer domestic Dogs to Cats as pets, which to many people is quite surprising, given that I am always on the feline side of the fence in these debates.

The majority of my family have a huge phobia of snakes. In fact, snakes are generally one of the most feared animals.

i love snakes. i even owned a rescued copperhead for a signifigant period of time. they can actually be remarkably docile
