An 11.8 meter, 6,500 kilogram Tyrannosaurus rex runs the gauntlet. Does it clear it? Correct the weights if wrong. Images are provided in the form of hyperlinks on the animals' names.

Round 1: A 5,000 kilogram Mammuthus primigenius
Round 2: A 5,000 kilogram ceratopsian (Montana Dueling Dinosaurs specimen)
Round 3: A 4,000 kilogram Elasmotherium sibiricum
Round 4: A 5,000 kilogram Loxodonta africana
Round 5: A 6,000 kilogram Triceratops horridus
Round 6: An 8,000 kilogram Giganotosaurus carolinii
Round 7: An 8,000 kilogram Carcharodontosaurus saharicus
Round 8: An 11,000 kilogram Spinosaurus aegyptiacus
Round 9: An 11,000 kilogram Diplodocus carnegii

I was thinking the same. The first two shouldn't be that much trouble IMHO (mammoth's tusks are too curved, ceratopsian's horns look too small), the next three would be a tougher challenge, but I think T.rex could pull them off.

But when it does come to me, IMHO, a Diplodocus just seemed more deserving.

Supercommunist: Anyone find it kind of weird how some people portay gigantosaurus as a finese predator compared to a tyrannosaurus? Given that tyrannosaurus had the smaller gape and the duller teeth, wouldn't it require more precision? Aug 27, 2024 23:49:00 GMT 5
