Castration is some violent stuff, even by wild animal standards.

You remove the testes during castration, not what apex wants to remove.

We’d fare pretty well. Some people certainly remember our story. The natural conditions wheren’t really a major problem (save for a few baboons gone mad ). You can find everything you need to survive out there. Depending on your experience, it might take a few unpleasant days to properly settle in and find out how to do stuff, but you’ll eventually figure out the things it takes to survive (unless you are a complete idiot). It all gets much easier if you have the shared experience of many people, like we’d have.

I hope I won't be too stupid at learning, sometimes I can be hobbledehoy when it comes to such things.

Oh, don’t worry. Survival is really easy to learn if you know the right youtube channels and yet find the right balance between staring at your screen and staring at the birch tree you are trying to tap Seriously, most techniques you need are easy and at best require a little practice, an intelligent person like you would learn them hands down. The only things that are quite difficult are making fire with natural means and flintknapping. But the basics can still be learned quite easily in both cases, and those are absolutely sufficient.
