well i guess so , this is a fantasy anaconda not the real life weights , also monkeys are not a good analogy to compare to gorillas they are pretty diffrent. They're also much more dexterous, and some have very impressive bites. So I'd in fact say comparing a gorilla to some similar sized monkeys may not be a good analogy either! it is because if anacondas do not even take on smaller adult monkeys i doubt they would take on a adult silverback gorilla. anyhow if this is fantsy weights then in that case the snake wins because he is heavier and larger than a 400 lbs gorilla.

They don't go after them because they aren't enough to eat as an adult

They don't go after them because they aren't enough to eat as an adult i doubt if they cannot take out adult monkeys that one can take out a adult gorila , but anyhow with the weights that are being used then yes the snake does win as it is quite a bit heavier and it can constrict the gorilla and kill it. this is how the scene would play out , but bare in mind these are fictonal weights in real life the gorilla wins 7/10 times.

Not intended to be rude at all, but could you actually posts something that refutes what I've said? I haven't quite found that to be the case

I haven't quite found that to be the case no ofenese , but i do not see anything that refutes anything i said , anacondas are quite fragile from what i just proved and they are not nearly physically strong and do not even take on monkeys that are much smaller .

Just look at their physiology and behavior. 2: They do not take on smaller monkeys because it's too much effort for too little food

And even still, jaguar predation is on anacondas smaller than themselves. Besides, 1-2 bites will not kill a determined anaconda 2: I don't think I need to explain why that is invalid. Take a look at earlier explanations

I've told you over and over again, the reason why adult anacondas do not go after monkeys is because it's too little for too much work

It's very close to parity when it occurs, and many monkeys have very impressive dentition and can be more vicious that a gorilla, so I think it'd make a good comparison

You need a crocodile jaw for that 2: How are they very different in terms of fighting? Both thrash around and bite
