For me there is not such thing as best sport in the world. I would say my favorite. So mine is motor racing (Formula 1 and WRC).

European Football, the ONLY, the REAL, the BEST of the world!!! That is the most loved sport on Earth. This is not "European", it is the World Football!!! The "thing" that USA people call "football" (a group of Neanderthals that do anything except to kick the ball with the foot), is just a bad copy (foot-ball only in name) of an already magnificent sport. I also play basketball. Some people say that the basketball and the swimming are the most complete sports. I don't know how real is this statement. Ps. I am not biased. Just that my father was referee, so two of my uncles, I played in a team when kid and my nephew is currently playing in a kids team, and finally, I am from Latin America. So, I am not biased at all, just a little "inclined". Do you you believe me? By the way, June 2014, WORLD CUP IN BRAZIL!!!

Sorry, but soccer is probably one of the most poorly designed and boring sports out there.. IMO lol

Sorry, but soccer is probably one of the most poorly designed and boring sports out there.. IMO lol Serious. Sorry, I just think any contest of skill in which only 1 or 2 points are scored by both teams combined in 1 1/2+ hours of play is mind-numbing and very unlikely to reveal the "better" team.

I love basketball and American football; I played both on high school teams. Basketball's my favorite sport, and I still play in rec leagues. My kids love basketball and soccer, they're still pretty young. Interest in soccer is definitely growing in the U.S. I started playing intramural soccer in college along with my other sports. It's a great game of skill and good exercise, but any sport where you are only using half your body is not quite as appealing to me.

Soccer is really good to play. To watch, I can understand why some people would find it boring, but I still enjoy it.

I don't watch football (or soccer, however you call it), but playing it can indeed be fun. I prefer basketball though.
