If you think you would be safer with the dinosaurs of WWD than those of JP, you're wrong.
Despite the relative inaccuracies (some related to the date JP was made) the animals in both movies are depicted as animals, not monsters, only dangerous animals in JP. And that's also the case in WWD.
Also, when you get a 150 tons Liopleurodon in WWD, JP inaccuracies are minor...
You're wrong to undermine JP. Without this movie, a historic movie, WWD wouldn't have existed.
JP helped to show dinosaurs in a modern manner and as animals.

Has it been posted yet that the JP IV Raptors will be featherless? Anyway, it could be that some didn't notice it, so I post it, they will be featherless. LINK

I first read about feathers in dinosaurs in books a very long time ago, then I saw the fossil evidences and relatively soon udnerstood all coelurosaurs msut have had feathers. It took me a lot of time to realise the same probably applied to all ornithodirans tough.

However WWD was meant to be a wildlife documentary, not a hollywood movie, and it showed animals behaving naturally, in natural ecosystems, and was at least aimed to present them accurately. I still don't get why they didn't show the droms as feathered tough.

But the cultural impact of JP was greater and brought the audience to have more interest into dinosaurs. Thanks to JP, WWD could be created. But since it was a wildlife-like doc, with time, its flaws are even greater than JP. But no matter... JP4 seems planned for release in 2015. www.jurassicpark4-movie.com/news/884

They (almost) always delay the date for 2 years (2008,2010,2012 now 2013,2015).

Nice skin structure on that Spinosaurus, tough it is missing the filaments...

Let's hope so, when we are waiting for it that long we should also be rewarded

- a new dinosaur will cause havoc in the park It seems like they are going to feature another mega carnivore. That's going to be interesting.

Not necessary IMO. Horner had talked about this previously, stating the animal would be frightening.
I bet on the Carnotaurus of the second novel.

OK, but a new mega carnivore would still be great.
