I believe in creative mind/ reason that's ultimately the source and cause of everything. Matter, space and time are just how our consciousness perceives the reality which is made of information. The best metaphor I can think of, is a hypothetical computer "game". If we assume a game initially imagined to keep growing and evolving freely in a way so advanced that the characters develop their own consciousness, then their reality would not be different to them than ours is to us.
But instead of the computer hardware, it all just exists as an information within information..the initial "code" points to an entity we can refer to as God. As the Bible says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

My belief is simple. Twelve words. I do not, have not, and will never believe in a God

I always swing around 3-5 sometimes maybe a 2 or 6, but honestly I hate that I don't have a solid opinion which is irritating. And are you saying that you believe the simulation theory of the universe links with a theological creator? I've heard of such theories and for all we know we could be in levels of simulations etc, gets complicated. Very interesting, also heard of stuff on how it affects consciousness etc.

I’d say i’m a 2, I believe that there is an omnipotent god that created the universe, evolution and such.

I fluctuate between 3 to 5 and sometimes a 7 so I can't really give a solid vote here. I do believe in spirits and reincarnation however, its interesting.

arethousleepy What sorts of spirits? Like divine, neutral, or good spirits. Ones that have ascended into the afterlife. Ones that we'll never see in our lifetime. But the more I think about it, it seems pretty vague to me, like they're just invisible spirits. Keep in mind its not the same as ghosts though.

Well, ghosts and spirits are both incredibly vague concept, I'm not sure how to distinguish between them.

creature386 I think spirits are the kinds of things you read about in scary stories and holy books, while ghosts are the remains of dead things

Isn't it vice versa? I mean, he thinks spirits are real, not ghosts.

Creation vs Evolution - Yes. I believe in both. Rocks don't lie. I believe that evolution is the process used by The Almighty in His creation. Time is meaningless to One who is immortal and eternal.
