I like the new layout so far, exept for the avatar for the guys who don't have an avatar. I liked it better when it was left blank.

Maybe we could think of some fitting image as a proxy for the ones who haven't uploaded their own avatar? I'm thinking of some animals skull here...

Thanks! I remember on carnivora there were preset images available to choose from. Maybe we could do something like this on this forum? That way members could simply choose some fitting image if they don't have one themselves.

Imo animals should do, but we can use anything if you want to. But I guess most users would use animals anyway, this just fits the forum.
I don't know whether proboards has the capability to upload images to choose from (btw I really like the new layout, it offers great functionality!), if it doesn't we could use some other place to host them. Feel free to make requests for animals, I have got many drawings on my laptop I could edit into a suitable form rather easily.
