I swear, after high school, a lot of my friends started to drift off, leaving only a handful left. A few did drugs, some of their true natures came out, some became toxic, etc. Most of you posters are likely in college now and my question is, is how is your social lives after getting out of high school?

I miss my high school friends. I still have contact with them, of course, but I haven't seen most in person since graduation. It's quite sad, actually.
I have made a few new friends in university, although social life and popularity nowadays seems like such a small and insignificant concept relative to what it did in high school. My friend circle is nowhere near as large as it was, say, 5 years ago. However, the few friends I do have today are much closer to me than my high school buddies.

I"m going to stick my neck out and say you're very young, but at this stage, you don't need women. Just work on self improvement, and get hobbies. The time will come some day, and be wise about the female you want to be with. There are a lot of toxic ones out there man.

Every time a girl liked me, it last for a bit, but then she'd have to move to another state. I hope that someday I'll find a girl who likes me and won't move away. Someday...

I'm a MGTOW. I don't care for getting into a relationship personally. No marriage and no commitment.

Most of my high school buddies screwed up their lives. One of my friends came out as a narcissist and I had to get rid of him. The ones that are still my friends are very close though. I haven't made any friends in community college, but it doesn't bother me much. Most people there are antisocial and don't even like talking with an exception of a few.

I met Tina in the 5th grade; she was 9, I was 10. We were elementary school sweethearts ( I fantasized of holding hands with her ). She has lived her life; through 3 husbands and several boyfriends. I have lived my life, one wife deceased and several girlfriends. Now, we live in her two-story 300 year old plantation house in South Carolina... best friends for 56 years now. Make friends, but choose them carefully. You will need a good friend from time to time, and they will need you.

I am very social, one of the "cool guys" as they say it. We usually just say a lot of nonsense and act like drunk guys

I am one of those guys who can hang out with people differing from many different interests. I can fit in with just about any crowd. Unfortunately, many of my past friends are gone, either by themselves, or failed me. It's always something. I only have a handful left, and glad to have them.
