I would like to be black bear. I will be dominant over all predators except the grizzly bear. Since there are twice as much black bears as grizzlies, I will stay away from Yellowstone Park and areas where grizzlies prowl. I will also stay away from areas with humans but I will go to areas where cougars, wolberines, and wolves are where I can potentially usurp a free meal plus I would stay away from porcupines.

Interesting question. I always imagined about actually being another animal, in which case I'd pick an Orca because they seem almost like having managed to cheat the whole harsh game of survival.
But transfering into another species body is an entirely different take that I imagine being plain traumatic in vast majority of the cases. A bird sounds tempting, but actually flying like a bird also means having a nervous system and brain finely tuned for flying. If I just transformed my current state of mind into a bird's body, I can only imagine being useless. So if i had to choose, I'd much rather pick Gorilla's body. I think human brain in gorilla's body could work. I'd feel "home" in a way, but would get to experience dramatic gains in strength and durability. Also being a natural vegan is a major bonus.
