think of an "exotic" animal. then think of what it tastes like. can you think of one you'd want to eat? personally..... lion. or maybe zebra.

^^Kangaroo is a little chewy, but it tastes good, better than beef imo (much juicier). But no, it’s nothing like chicken (crocodile is though), more similar to deer
An animal whose taste I have been wondering about was that giant amphibian shown in the Upper Permian episode of Walking With Monsters. Somehow it looked delicious, I imagine it like a mixture of chicken and fish.

I'm going to consume an Argentinosaurus femur for breakfast!
Anyway, even though these animals are not really exotic, I'd like to know how bugs or spiders taste. Some cultures seem to love them.

I wouldn't mind tasting any non-avian dinosaur if they were still around.
There are actually quite a lot of animals I'd like to know the taste of, but I'm too lazy to list them.

Bison. Healthier and Tastier but similar to beef. (I would relinquish my religious beliefs though...)
Wild Boar. Best thing I've tasted. Nuttier and richer than pork.
Caribou. It would probably resemble antelope or venison in flavor.

Today I got the chance to eat alligator meat for the first time since my toddler(?) years.
Tasted as I expected: like chicken. Only somewhat more tender. Good.

I wonder if that allows us to do phylogenetic bracketing on the taste of dinosaur meat.
