A male grizzly would dominate a Bengal tiger and usurp it of its food due to weight advantage. At parity, a grizzly will still has stronger forearms but it will be much more interesting. This is because female grizzlies overlap in weight with male Bengal tigers. This scene will be like ussuri brown bear vs Siberian tiger.

Still both a male ussuri brown bear and grizzly bear will dominate a Siberian tiger. At equal weights, the grizzly would most likely be female.

Still both a male ussuri brown bear and grizzly bear will dominate a Siberian tiger. At equal weights, the grizzly would most likely be female. The largest male Ussuri brown bears strictly avoid male Siberian tigers, so what makes you think a male Brown bear will "dominate" a tiger?
In fact, even very large male Brown bears have been observed to show blatant fear of tigers. Even running from tiger tracks. In every country and region where tigers live alongside bears, the tiger is BY FAR the more dominant beast and is a predator of the bears. The bear is the prey.
Large adult Brown bears are also hunted and killed by tigers.
Also, tigers usually dominate kill-disputes against Brown bears. They also win most fights, I posted all the fight statistics on the "Ussuri brown bear vs Siberian tiger" thread.
Male Bengal tigers and male Grizzly bears are similar in size and weights. In a match-up between two adult males, the tiger would rip the bear to shreds. Just like how the Siberian tiger does to the Ussuri brown bear.

Wait... I know this is late, but rock, are you saying a grizzly bear sow can beat a Bengal tiger male? The size difference is too large - 134 vs 220 kg

There are no confirmed reports of a tiger ever winning this fight. A grizzly is simply too powerful a foe for any big cat. Even a female sloth bear can successfully defend herself against a full-grown male Bengal tiger.

A Grizzly bear is too powerful a foe for any big cat, only in your dreams. Not reality.
Also, in every single fight to the death (In all of history) between a Bengal tiger/tigress and an adult male/female Sloth bear, the bear was killed and eaten in every single case. Sloth bears are no match for tigers, period.
That one video where the female sloth bear fended off a male tiger, was a one-off exceptional case! Thats why it went viral. The tiger easily dominated the fight and had the bear over-powered and pinned down most of the time. It was just inexperienced. In fact, the tiger looked like it was toying with the bear.
There's another video on youtube of a tiger that kills a female sloth bear within seconds!

There have been a great many confirmed reports of the grizzly ( Ursus arctos ) defeating the tiger. You "mountainlord" are in denial. There have been numerous accounts, even caught on camera, of sloth bears fending off tigers. Never once have I ever seen a video of a tiger defeating any bear face-to-face. Man-up to the truth. It only hurts for a little while.

Yeah, and in almost every single video of a sloth bear fending off a tiger, the tiger was either a JUVENILE or a young sub-adult. Not fully-grown! Big difference. But there's videos of even large adult male sloth bears running from tigresses and young sub-adult tigers. Want me to post them?....
And no, there is no "confirmed" accounts you hypocrite. The only so-called accounts you have, are the very old unreliable CAPTIVE accounts which don't prove anything.
Here's an account from the WILD - of a tiger that killed a LARGE, FULL-GROWN MALE Black bear in a fight:

I know it hurts, but the pain will go with time.

www.activewild.com/sloth-bear/ Even a full-grown tiger may be forced to retreat from an angry sloth bear if its initial surprise attack is unsuccessful. A tiger is an ambush predator. Period. He will not voluntarily fight any full-grown male bear of any species face-to-face. This is why a man can wear a face-mask on the back of his head for protection against tigers. This is also why the smaller bear species of Asia have the big V on their chests. That mark is a sign that warns the tiger, "I can see you". No tiger in his right mind will ever choose to ambush a mature male grizzly. I will add; for a tiger fan-boy to ever claim that a tiger is physically stronger than a grizzly is totally absurd.

That sloth bear vs tiger account you posted proves nothing. You haven't even got a clue about your own sources you post.
That was a tiger CUB!! - Not even a sub-adult. And it was the male sloth bear that backed away in the end and retreated. The tiger cub held its ground!
Here's the video to that pointless account you posted: - And it favours the tiger cub! lool....
You see, that was the male cub of the tigress T-19.
And here's an account of a tiger that killed a sloth bear in a face-to-face fight:
In India’s jungles tigers sometimes kill sloth bears. And eat them for breakfast – and lunch and dinner if there’s anything left over! Although the shaggy sloth bear, one of four species of bears found in India, has a fearsome reputation for unprovoked aggression, Baloo is obviously no match for Shere Khan. Bear hair in tiger scat is not an unusual sight in forests where the two species co-exist. My friend, Dr. K. Yoganand, a wildlife biologist who studied sloth bears in Panna Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh, not only witnessed many aggressive encounters between bears and tigers, he even photographed a tiger feeding on a fresh sloth bear kill. Obviously there is little love lost between the two species, which makes the incident I’m about to narrate rather unique."..
THE FIGHT:
As we watch in disbelief, it is followed by an obviously agitated sloth bear that begins charging towards the predator. The big cat turns around, and we brace ourselves for a horrendous battle resulting in one very dead bear. Instead, confounding our belief, and standing conventional wisdom on its head, the tiger calmly flops down and contemplates the bear with complete equanimity!"..

So there you go, an account of a tiger killing a sloth bear in a face-to-face fight! Want more?...

the tiger calmly flops down... in your fan-boy mind means he killed the sloth bear?
