the tiger calmly flops down... in your fan-boy mind means he killed the sloth bear? The tiger CUB, remember, CUB tiger flops down, HOLDING HIS GROUND, and the large ADULT male sloth bear retreats. As clear as day to see.
In your deluded fanboy mind, thats a Bear victory over a tiger. LOL...
And why haven't you addressed the account I posted of the tiger that killed a sloth bear in a face-to-face fight??
Why haven't you also addressed the account I posted of the tiger that killed a LARGE, FULL-GROWN MALE Black bear in a face-to-face fight??
I know exactly why, because your a Bear fanatic who likes to ignore all the evidence I've posted which easily refutes and exposes your lies, thats why.

Wow! What a tiger fan-boy pair of rosey glasses you are wearing. To start with, that male tiger is no cub ( just because the fan-boy who put this on youtube says so ). Second, the sloth bear only has one objective: to make the tiger back-down. This Momna Bear was successful. Sloth she-bear backs down a full-grown male Bengal tiger. You can repost those accounts you mentioned - but please: one at a time so that I can reply to them.

Still both a male ussuri brown bear and grizzly bear will dominate a Siberian tiger. At equal weights, the grizzly would most likely be female. The largest male Ussuri brown bears strictly avoid male Siberian tigers, so what makes you think a male Brown bear will "dominate" a tiger?
In fact, even very large male Brown bears have been observed to show blatant fear of tigers. Even running from tiger tracks. In every country and region where tigers live alongside bears, the tiger is BY FAR the more dominant beast and is a predator of the bears. The bear is the prey.
Large adult Brown bears are also hunted and killed by tigers.
Also, tigers usually dominate kill-disputes against Brown bears. They also win most fights, I posted all the fight statistics on the "Ussuri brown bear vs Siberian tiger" thread.
Male Bengal tigers and male Grizzly bears are similar in size and weights. In a match-up between two adult males, the tiger would rip the bear to shreds. Just like how the Siberian tiger does to the Ussuri brown bear.
By Kodiak. Regarding the fight statistics, I doubt the tiger can kill a brown bear or grizzly larger than itself except by ambush and even that it is dangerous if the grizzly is a good deal larger. However, tigers can certainly kill female grizzlies.

The other cubs were also there. Go ask your buddies on Wildfact too, they'll tell you the same thing. Also, the small size of the tiger also confirms that it was a little cub. The person who filmed that case also stated it was the cub of the tigress "T-19". And the bear was clearly a LARGE MALE Sloth bear. And the bear backed away in the end and retreated, the tiger cub held its ground. Any fool can see that.
Brobear, you have lost your mind. Now your calling little tiger cubs, "full-grown male tigers", LOOOOOLLL!!!!! Whats next? You gonna call a tigress a 300kg male tiger?
Anyways, here's a video of a large adult male sloth bear that retreats after spotting a young SUB-ADULT tigress in a watering hole:
Tigress and an adult male sloth bear face-off, and the bear runs away for its life!
Those are just two of many examples! - And you still haven't addressed my accounts I posted of a tiger killing a sloth bear in a face-to-face fight and a tiger killing a large full-grown male black bear in a face-to-face fight. Typical.

That screen-shot was not written by Kodiak, that is a post from another FORUM POSTER, not an expert, but a forum poster named "Peter". LOL....Peter is far from an expert, he's just another forum poster and debater. So whats that supposed to prove??
On top of that, Kodiak loves to cherry-pick certain parts of Peters posts and leave out all the stuff where it favours the tiger. He's very sly and deceitful.
In which world or reality is that supposed to be "evidence"?...
The fight statistics I posted which were actually reported and documented by undisputed Russian authorities/experts - clearly prove and show that the tiger is the usual winner in a fight against a Brown bear.
And male Brown bears prefer to contest the much smaller female tiger, lest it become an item of tiger diet:

Black bear torn to pieces by tigers in Shanghai park. Horrified visitors saw the 3-year-old Asiatic black bear — also called the moon bear — stray into the Siberian tiger zone at the park in the Pudong New Area. Shanghai Wildlife Park pledged yesterday to improve security after a young bear was torn to pieces by tigers. Horrified visitors saw the 3-year-old Asiatic black bear — also called the moon bear — stray into the Siberian tiger zone at the park in the Pudong New Area. A video clip posted online showed the bear rear up onto its hind legs in a desperate bid to defend itself from four encroaching tigers, before being knocked over and killed. The cries of shocked visitors can be heard in the background, during the incident on Monday afternoon. A later photograph posted online showed more than 10 tigers feeding on the bear's body. Management of the park said the young bear had only two months ago been moved to the bear zone of the park, which offers a freer habitat. While different zones are separated by gates and electric fences, the bear slipped into the tiger zone through a gate alongside a sightseeing bus. "The bear was frightened for some reason and ended up running into the tiger zone," said Ni Li, a park official. But what exactly frightened the bear remained unclear, she said, adding it’s rare for bears to act like that. Ni said in the lead-up, the bus had obscured security camera views of the bear, making it unclear what had spooked it. www.china.org.cn/environment/2015-08/14/content_36302963.htm

Green Arrow
I don't know what the relevance was for you to post the video of the juvenile tiger up in the tree with the sloth bear.
Anyways, yes, when tigers hunt adult Brown bears, they usually target the females (Up to any size/weight) sub-adults, cubs....however, there are several cases in the past of tigers killing large male Brown bears. In one case, a very large male Brown bear.
Amur tiger biologist, Linda Kerley even stated that tigers even prey on larger Brown bears. Russian biologists, Heptner and Sludskii stated that a tiger will even tackle much larger bears than itself. This all indicates large males being hunted too. Biologist, Rakov reported an account of a large Brown bear killed and eaten by a tiger.
"In December 1959 on the river. A light tiger killed a large brown bear, and lived near it for about 10 days, until it was eaten."

Also, unlike the tiger, full-grown large male Brown bears have even been observed showing BLATANT FEAR of tigers. For example:
sixote-alin.ru/books/kaplanov/tigr_en.html
That wasn't even a 'large' male brown bear, that was a VERY LARGE male Brown bear, showing clear fear of tigers. You'll never, ever hear of a single case of an adult male tiger running from even the largest male Brown bears. Bears are the ones in general, who have an innate fear of tigers. Not the other way round.
Here we have a case of the largest of the Brown bears that were attacked and chased from their dens by tigers:
You also need to acknowledge the fact that even full-grown large male Brown bears, STRICTLY AVOID male tigers with good reason. Only occasionally they will harass or challenge a smaller female tiger.
More correctly - Tigers are powerful animals and can and HAVE taken bears LARGER than themselves. (Records/testimonies from experts confirm this).
