I would also like to throw in wolves & baboons/mandrill in as some of my fav predatory animals as recently I've had a growing interest in them (still not better than birds tho )

Sorry I'm unable to view the video (mobile issues) may I ask what happened? A young Golden Eagle killing 2 male Capercaillie ( a large aggressive game bird armed with powerful feet/claws).

In detail, the two were fighting, the eagle swooped in and killed one fairly quickly, the other started to harass the eagle and eventually it killed it too.

Extant: modern big cats are some, and among them the jaguar is my favorite; being a stocky, built-for-strength, durophagous macropredator, it’s one of the closest things to a T. rex living today IMO. Aside from cats, there’s also crocodilians and the great white shark.
Extinct: tyrannosaurids. My god, these things. Commonly as massive as rhinos, if not elephants. Armed with the bite of Hell that either pulverized bone or eviscerated, claws on their feet that could penetrate through each other’s thick jawbones or each other’s massive hip muscles and score the ilium underneath. Unusually cursorial for their massive size; the rhino-sized ones could conceivably run about as fast as the fastest humans, while the elephant-sized ones could still probably outrun any other terrestrial animal in their weight range, and certainly above. Hunted quite impressive prey.
Also, Haast’s eagle; eagles are already cool with their modus operandi, but this was the largest. Living on an island dominated by birds, and of course being a bird itself, it was a dinosaurian apex predator in a land of dinosaurs (some of which were far larger than itself), an ecological composition that ceased to exist everywhere else 66 million years prior.

Carcharodontosaurus. It has a badass name, its perfectly suited for attacking huge prey, and it fought against other giant predators.

Constrictors! What a way to kill, and then they choke it down whole. That's hardcore! Particularly pythons and boas but all constrictors have my admiration.
