The Tiger, as no other predator alive or extinct had the beauty, power and exceptional abilities of this amazing animal and its felid relatives. I have studied tigers for more than 9 years (more time that my own University career) and I have learn that tigers are living mystery, that NO animal in its habitat is safe from them and quoting Valmik Thapar, the only certain thing in tiger behavior is that with them, almost everything is possible. Tigers are FASCINATING!!!

Extant: Siberian Tiger, Nile/Saltwater Crocodile and Tiger Shark - I have liked them since i was really young kid. Extinct: Most carnosaurs, megalosauroids, dromaeosaurids (large ones), tyrannosauroids, Sarcosuchus, Deinosuchus riogradensis, Rhamphosuchus - They are always my favorite animals with several reason. However some like Rhamphosuchus are "new" in my list.

My favorite has got to be the african rock python, or western diamondback rattlesnake, African rock pythons have always fascinated me as to their predatory prowess and their immense size, and i have always had an interest in the Western Diamondback rattlesnake, for reasons i'm not entirely sure. but they're immensely awe-inspiring animals, especially if you see one while walking in the desert!

I admire all predatory species so it's hard to pick, but I'd have to say canids, besides the fact the Gray wolf is my favorite animal and the Dog is my favorite domestic animal they are an incredibly intelligent, diverse and impressive lineage.

The polar bear as it is the only bear to live directly on ice making it a semiaquatic animal plus its a good swimmer. The polar bear also has the best slicing bite of all bears (teeth areade to slice open thick hide of seals, walrus, and even beluga whales).

Recently, I've started to discover more of a liking for Titanoboa, GWS, and Komodo dragon. Probably for the same/similar reasons everybody else picked them
