Here's a poster showing JP's creatures to scale. It seems to be JP or TLW based on the skin coloration: I just measured it and the tyrannosaur ended up at ~10 meters in standing length with a hip ~3.55 meters over the ground assuming that the human figure was the ~180-centimeter standard scale figure. Using the average human height of around ~165 centimeters, the standing length is ~9.12 meters and the hip height is ~3.25 meters. Note that ~180 centimeters is actually on the large side in humans, the people of the Dinaric Alps stand ~185.6 centimeters on average for men and ~170.9 centimeters for women, and they are regarded as the tallest group of people in the world. Also, the tyrannosaur is posed in a way such that the hip height is a bit higher than it would have been in a neutral pose. It ended up much smaller than I originally expected.

The short lenght is probably because its heavily based in Paul's skeletals.

The short lenght is probably because its heavily based in Paul's skeletals. Yeah but it's the best source we have for the size of the original JP Tyrannosaurus pre-JW retcon, since it's official supplementary material rather than a fanmade size comparison. Btw I did a size comparison showing how large a real life Brachiosaurus altithorax would have been compared to the JP Brachiosaurus: The B. altithorax subadult holotype has a torso comparable to the female JP brach and the adult B. altithorax has a torso comparable to the male JP brach. I'm guessing somewhere between ~40-45ish tonnes for the female JP brach(it has a smaller neck and tail than the holotype of B. altithorax) and ~65-70? tonnes for the male JP brach(due to it's fat tail). Seems like JP really did have some sexual dimorphism but it's in brachiosaurs rather than tyrannosaurs. The size of the female JP Brachiosaurus is based on the official size chart poster(assuming that the human figure is the ~1.8-meter standard), male JP Brachiosaurus from JP3's size chart, and the RL Brachiosaurus skeletal reconstruction is from Scott Hartman. Mass of FMNH P 25107 is guesstimated based on comparison with the long-bodied Dreadnoughtus reconstruction from the description paper, which Matt Wedel calculates at ~51 cubic meters with a mass of around ~36-46 tonnes. Humerus length of USMN 21903 is based on Nima's figure, while the mass of the specimen is extrapolated based on FMNH P 25107.

Seen it.
BADASS. The inaccuracies just didn't annoy me.
Spectacular show. If you like action you'll be satisfied.

I just left the cinema during the film. Not because of inaccurate science but because of shitty writing. Most stuff is really predictable and some stuff really cheesy. I just went to wiki to look of my predicrions for the Endung were right, and yup. Well, Maybe on par with JP3 vor slightly better.

Well, JP3 is not that bad but it defintely depends on the person, grey enjoyed it (JW).
I'm going to see it in a couple of hours but I don't know excatly when, I don't know if I go see it around 1pm or do I wait until the aftertoon when there will be more people? I'm one of those that prefers it when there's lots of people.

I find this movie better then JP2 and 3 and a worthy successor to JP1.

I find this movie better then JP2 and 3 and a worthy successor to JP1. Definitely IMO, the pace and action is perfect. The writing not comparable to the first two but way better than the third. The final is pretty epic. Some interesting new themes in it.

So I've finaly seen it, the end of the final fight was awesomebro stupid, the dinosaur designs are still terrible, the CGI is pretty good in the first half but it somehow becomes worse and very noticiable in the other half... and yes there are problems with the writting and the plot becomes predictable but is not a bad dumb blockbuster movie, I did enjoy it more than JP2 and JP3 (which I watched yesterday to refresh my memory), I personally wouldn't call it a worthy succesor to the original as this one is decidedly dumber which is not necesarily a bad thing on its own.
