 is this photoshop? about the only other big cat i've seen with forelimbs this proportionally massive (or close) have been jaguars.. Meet Raja (same tiger killing the gaur in the famous video) He is a nice sized prime male territory holding bengal. He is large and tall but by no means the maximum. If you want to see some seriously large tigers, Take a look at the Kaziranga Monsters and Waghdoh. You will see why the idea of a Wild Territory holding bengal will be far to much for a Territory holding Male Lion. |

I remember the debate I had with Vod and Black Ice in Carnivora. They managed to convince me that the tiger wins there and I still believe that the tiger wins however I still believe that this is a very close match. Tiger 5.5-6.5/10.

Not only protestants do this, I have seen a fanatic Christian forum where both sides came up with a lot of stupid crap. I agree that religion should be kept out of debates which have nothing to do with it, especially if it is something minor. It is very good to point out that even Christianity itself disagrees with this, this should convince even the hard fundamentalists to stop spamming. Lol, that looked fun. In any case my view on this wonderful debate is that the tiger would win the majority of encounters. Almost all fights witnessed by humans are staged affairs using animals that do not represent their average, wild counterparts. When considering equally weighted Tigers and lions, lions are more robust, but on the order of just a few percent. When scaled to their average adult masses, this species of tiger holds a ~15-20% size advantage. This more than compensates for it's slightly more gracile form and lets it secure a win ~55-65% of the time. When we consider Amur tigers the margin of victory might go up to 65-70%. Tigers also known to take more massive prey solo, and are used to hunting and fighting without the support of a pack.
I will admit, I like tigers more as an animal, their appearance is stunning, but it doesn't effect my reasoning.
